Artikel København is a family-run clothing company established in 2017, approaching classic clothing and timeless silhouettes with curiosity. We explore the aesthetics and endurance of everyday wear and experiment with the principles of traditional craft. The clothes are produced locally in Copenhagen, which results in each item retaining its own unique nuances. Artikel focuses on a continual collection that transcends seasons and trends, with occasional new drops and collaborations. Our collection constitutes of a few non-binary core shapes produced in carefully selected hard-wearing textiles with attention to detail. We aspire to make clothes that follow you through life, loved and relevant for years to come.

Each item is produced with full transparency in our combined store and workshop at Gammel Kongevej 37. Our products are made-to-order and produced according to the demand. To cater to most body types, we offer custom adjustments on all our products, meaning that customers are offered regulations of their personal measurements on sleeves, waist, and length of body and legs. We believe creating garments specially made for our customers increases the longevity of the products, as this works against a prevalent wear-and-tear culture and strengthens the personal attachment to the clothes. Every piece of garment has its unique ID number where customers can track care instructions, who produced it and when.

Artikel work with few and thoroughly chosen fabric suppliers. Common for all suppliers is their high standard production based in Europe. We base our selection on the supplier's production standards, quality and small order quantities.
